So bought and installed same day, very easy installation. Arc HDMI to the device and from the optical output of the device to my AV receiver. When I turned on the device there was no sound, checked the cables, everything was fine, tapped the volume button several times and the sound came on. The volume knob may have been deformed or soldered crookedly. When turning the knobs everything turned smoothly except for the master volume, when turning the knob to a louder setting there was friction and I can feel it dragging across the device. Then you have a performance that I think is terrible. There is a 1 second delay from the microphone to the speakers, and the audio turns on and off randomly.
