I bought this for grilled sandwiches and quesadillas. For me it was important to have both sides. They are easy to clean. They say you can wash it in the dishwasher, but I usually wash it with my hands right away. I started using George for grilled sandwiches and it's a lot better. This is great for quesadillas as they cook in half the time and don't need to be flipped, meaning no mess compared to a standard stovetop pan. I find it cooks very evenly and it's nice to have temperature control when needed. When fully open, it folds up. Some additional plans are to make freshly baked tortillas, which I previously could only cook one at a time on the stovetop, so I should be able to cook at the same time.
