However, if used too much, your head will turn into a brick. The hold is 12/10 and takes some effort to apply. It's sticky so prepare to spend 1/4 of a can as you can't get it off your hands and get it in your hair. Good for the sun! -Layrite SuperShine - Amazing lipstick, it applies like a dream and lasts almost perfectly. Like the American Crew, it wears out quickly in hotter/wetter climates. Vanilla smell, avoid if you are on a diet! You'll crave cupcakes all day long. Suavesito is still my favorite to this day. In terms of reliability, the lipstick surpasses anything I've tried and the staying power is just amazing! If you are in the rain it will weaken. But just straighten your hair, let it dry, and if needed, add a SMALL amount of pomade to strengthen the existing pomade. This is my favorite. I highly recommend it.
