I was looking for a good lanolin oil for use in making hand sanitizer for the family. I was worried that an 8 oz bottle would not be enough, but I was surprised at how effective just 5 drops of lanolin oil to 2 oz of disinfectant were. After the disinfectant evaporates from your hands, the lanolin has absorbed and made your hands soft and smooth (I am a guy and used to having rough hands, so this was a pleasant surprise - not like other hand sanitizers).After my wife tried it, she immediately asked me what else we could use the lanolin for. Off she went to research it and now she uses it as part of her nightly face-care routine because "it holds in hydration". She loves it! (It smells like it is, lanolin, but I had to get up close to smell it and it's not off-putting.)The oil came in a very clean and high-quality bottle, sealed in a zip-lock style bag (I assume to capture any possible leakage, of which there was none). From the brown bottle (protects against light degradation) to the safety seal, I was pleased with the packaging.My experience, thus far, has been 5-star and I am now looking for other oils to purchase from this company with which to experiment to make balms and other health-related emollients.
