I bought these for a 5th grade school party and they were a huge hit. I was pleasantly surprised that they work well for the price. I discovered that ink writing is an unseen art, but the children seemed to enjoy texting each other. I won't lie, I kept one for myself. Even at 46, it's fun to send secret messages to your spouse. I think some things never lose their appeal. The lights are a lot more powerful than I expected and while I don't know how they will hold up long term they are great for a kids party.
