I have heated grips for a few bikes and the end caps wouldn't cut them so I bought these little handlebar tips. Pretty easy to install and looks great. One thing I did after reading some reviews of throttle link bar ends was to place some 7/8 inch washers between the cap and the actual bar end which sits slightly inside the heated grip ends. This allows the pressure of the end of the rod to be converted into an actual pull on the rod, as opposed to actually pulling on the throttle, which is something you usually see complaints about. It completely solves the problems of all the obligatory stories you hear about this and most bar ends, and costs next to nothing. Use a 7/8 stainless steel washer or two or three and the problem is solved. Use a 1" washer on 1" bars.
