I wanted a simple waterproof digital watch that I could wear around the house when doing chores and hanging out in the pool. When it worked, it was great. Clean, easy to read display and a solid backlight that was easy to read in the dark.However, it is now dead. While it seemed to hold up well enough being around water, after being in water, no more than 2 meters deep, the seal failed and water got inside. The watch face was fogged up with condensation.I opened the case back to try to get the watch to dry out. I found no rubber o-ring inside to provide a seal. It was dependent on a raised plastic ring on the inside body to make a seal. It was not very effective.I had pretty low expectations for this watch and wasn't really even looking for all that much out of it.but, basic water tightness as advertised was apparently more than could be delivered.
