My daughter is a size 8 so we chose a size 9 to give her some room to grow. 9 are very tall I would say closer to 10. We kept her because she will have them for a long time as she has plenty of room to grow. The little clip on the bow is cute but it doesn't stay in place and has fallen off a couple of times.

- My daughter loves them, they fit and look great, I have a feeling if you wear tights they will be a little roomier.
- Can cause loud noises on certain surfaces
