This may vary depending on the location of your tattoo but for use on mine which is entirely on my shoulders I found it very difficult to apply and I couldn't get it to ever lay flat Wrinkles would have. and when my pink color started to ooze it just got stuck in the "plastic wrap" and my arm really started to hurt! works great, other than that I don't recommend sleeping with it because then I would wake up with a pain in my arm because the dye was just "trapped". , so I can keep trying this to compare and contrast, but maybe it just doesn't work for me personally and maybe for someone else.
