Review on πŸ“ Optimal Precision with our Cross Line Laser Level Plumb by Jaime Miranda

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tested as soon as I received it, absolutely accurate

I tested this level immediately upon receipt by comparing 1) to a known good 4 foot level and 2) to a 36" x 24" self-healing cutting mat for a printed square grid disc cutter, 3) a three point, a red Bosch laser level and 4) a good old plumb bob on a rope. He was on par with all four of us so I can trust him on my home renovation projects (plasterboard frame, tile, laminate). Time will tell if this holds up and I'll let you know if there are any problems over the next year or so. The only thing I don't like is that when I mount it on a camera tripod, the 1 4" screw hole is so close to the adjacent laser port for the bottom spot beam that the bottom beam is blocked by the pan head on the Tripod. I overcame this problem by simply attaching it to the swivel head with a large rubber band. adapter and move it until the beam passes through the swivel head adapter and can protrude to the ground. The included L bracket is great for sticking to steel, but my tripod is aluminum. I'm going to make a flat steel mount with an offset of about 3"x5/8", drill holes and tap a 1/4"-20 tripod mount screw on one end and on the other end of the level set a level piece with the leveling magnets This should provide good clearance and be easier to adjust than a rubber band.

Pros
  • ⭐ INTUITIVE CONTROLS AND LONG LASER LINES. Simply gently press the power button to activate this device and simply project the cross laser with the plumb bob. Highly visible laser lines with wide angles of 110ΒΊ horizontal and 180ΒΊ vertical - Highly visible long lines minimize the need to reposition the device.
