So I saw this lady reviewing Gorilla Hot Glue Sticks on YouTube, here's the chili, she was just berating the product. I bought it for this ONLY reason. Come on, now it's GLUE! Depending on the project, this may or may not work. Well I can tell you I bought 3 packs of 45 (yes I really needed that much). I had a large project with different media elements made out of wood, metal, paper, foam and felt. Yes, it worked perfectly, it glued everything together tightly. I had some of the media lined up (yes, crooked, how could that be), I had to use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to loosen the adhesion. I tested it with another brand of glue for the same project but only made 4 items. The hot gorilla glue sticks are still attached. Another brand, well I don't know what you call it, but the temperature in my arts and crafts room fluctuates depending on the temperature of the oven set at 60Β°C and the natural air outside (that wasn't the usual 2020 season, the outside temperature with cold days and snow in April for example), when the temperature dropped, the heating switched on. I've found that glue sticks other than Gorilla Hot Glue Sticks no longer stick to parts of the media. I say all this to say check the packaging for operating temperatures for your design environments and allow for the -/+ tolerance for their liability. That was weird, I thought ALL hot glue would do the same thing, but they don't, so check with the seller of the product. Well I've just applied Gorilla hot glue sticks over another brand and at the time of this review the adhesion was still bonded. in the media of the project. So in general I like Gorilla Hot Glue Sticks and stocked up on them (right here I can make this scratched tape recorder needle ha ha ha ha I only used 1/2 pack of my stash. Dog hunt! Just go and see yeah 1 /2 pack left AMAZON, I came back for another order of Gorilla Hot Glue Sticks because they fit me #1 Ad-TechPro 200 Wired #2 Lowes: Arrow Simultaneously Wired #3 Arrow Simultaneously Wired, the trigger during of use tired my hand i literally squeezed it so hard hot glue came out my hand was shaking you know it was too much what the heck is it i can barely pull the trigger on my cordless dart and the glue flows easy and i don't have to reattach it row after 2 minutes i get down to a good comfortable 30 mins so i think for surebonder it should be "user" <------ i should practice with it more because the first one experience was that it is right out of packaging arrived (last night 5/24/20) which allowed it with its instruction to heat up for 5 minutes. I'm telling you I felt like breaking off that little piece of the trigger I was trying so hard to get it to push the hot glue out. Again, my Arrow works great for 30 minutes of use, I just wish like my others and the Surebonder it came with a larger barrel of .43 glue stick. It only came with a small one and it gets so hot I catch myself losing the mini sticks like water. (Note to self---->> If this surebonder doesn't work I'll invest in extra mini gorilla hot glue sticks for my arrow which worked perfectly<<). Ok, that's it for this review, I hope the information is helpful. Thank you for reading.
