Review on Almi Invest by Stella Ojiogu
This is my first encounter with a Swedish investment firm
I understood right away that discovering this firm wasn't a mistake, but here's a quick summary of what Almi Invest is all about. Sweden's most active startup investor is Almi Invest, THEY BASICALLY DEAL WITH EARLY-STAGE STARTUPS WITH LOTS OF POTENTIALS.
They are an investment firm with eight regional venture capitalists and one national GreenTech investment company that invests throughout Sweden. They make around 50 new investments every year with 40 investment managers, with a high percentage of successful exits.
I'd never seen a successful investing firm like this before, let alone one based in Sweden.
Almi Invest invests 1-10 million Sweden Krona in each firm, with a focus on energy conservation and recycling.
