I bought these straps of this brand for my old fitbit charger and now for my feeling. I am very active and swim a lot. My first band lasted a VERY long time and stayed beautiful for over a year, almost 2. I have switched to silicone from time to time. The second tape seemed much cheaper than the quality. The band disappeared after a few months, revealing copper underneath. The inside became bumpy and severely scratched the wrist and turned green. I'm on my third because I wanted to give it another chance as it's a very longstanding band and I get a lot of compliments. This faded almost immediately. I got gold and silver to suit my sense of gold. The gold has faded after a pair of socks and the strap turns my wrist green every time it gets wet. It also fell apart after a few months. It's loose enough that I can twist it around my wrist, but not enough to pull the link out. It's a bit sad that every time I find a product and brand I like, they go down in quality. :( I hesitate to buy another metal band from this company.
