Disks are a good size and relatively thin. However, I'm not sure if they have 3M adhesive on them. There was no 3M advertising on the product. When I removed the protective film, the adhesive became transparent and very, very thin. I wasn't sure if it would stick, but I tried anyway. Put it on my phone case which is not matte or embossed. I waited a minute or two. Then I connected the magnet stick of the phone I have. Everything seemed fine until I removed the phone's grip. When I did that, the disc came loose with it; still magnetized on the handle. I took it off and put it back on the case since the glue was still tacky. This time I waited about 6 hours for the glue to set. I tried everything again and this time the disc seemed to stick to the case. Until I woke up this morning, my phone wasn't face down on my bedside table and the drive was still connected to my magnetic wireless charger. TL; DR - The adhesive is probably not original 3M and was dropped twice from my case.
