My 4 year old wanted "paternal" shoes for church and those times when he does dress up a bit. Stylistically, they meet all requirements; However, I was totally disappointed in the quality. He wears them about once a week, mostly to church and Sunday school. These shoes don't seem to stand up to accidental trips or bumps, however, as the toe cap on both wore out in the space of three months. They also developed unsightly creases where the shoe flexes on the foot. All other pairs of shoes we bought for this purpose were "retired" in perfect condition,
