This is the best! It's similar to a tan but more effective and doesn't turn hair orange. I have messy blonde/light brown hair that gets very mousy if I don't highlight it. I started using it a year ago and haven't been to the salon since! My hair is actually lighter than when I get full highlights that cost over $100. It's not just "a note" either, it looks like I have natural highlights. My hair also feels healthier because I think it's a lot less harsh. I just spray it on and dry it with a hair dryer. I would say that you definitely need a good purple shampoo to soften copper. I use the Aveda Blue Malva System and it works wonders. Between this product and purple shampoo/conditioner, you can skip the salon and save so much money!
