Ease of Use - Legacy Systems

I don't like this game a bit. Throughout my gaming career I have loved fighting games, wine gear, Smash Bros, Skull Girls, and Pokken tournaments. I have to say this name sucks. While games like Guilty Gear and Skull Girls are accessible but have a very high skill cap, this game didn't feel accessible at all. I'm 100% trained on Skullgirls so I have a solid understanding of the basics of these combo based games and it felt like the worst game I've ever played. Simply put, the game doesn't seem to recognize the correct input, and/or you have to be so precise that turning the joystick, say, a degree too far or too little, causes the movement to fail. Combined with the timing system, where input has to be lightning fast but not too fast at the same time, it just feels like a sub-par game. There are many fighting games on Vita, including Skullgirls and Blazblue, that will read your input and execute them reliably and consistently. Not in this game.
