I have a '99 Miata and the exhaust runs right next to the transmission tunnel which I really love. The material is a bit tricky to cut, I've found electrician's scissors work best. I am very happy with the level of isolation this provides. The only problem is that self-adhesive is just about ok. It's very difficult to get the transmission tunnel perfectly cleaned, so it didn't stick as well as I had hoped. Luckily I bought a can of DEI 010490 Hi Temp Spray Adhesive (which is pretty sticky!). With that, getting the floor and tunnel shield was a breeze (just work fast).
