The bad: I had to skip one lace hole on these where my 5.11 boots angle from my foot to my calf (minor issue). The Velcro tabs that keep the zipper up are about 1/4 inch long (super short) and are a PAIN to work with my big hands (major issue)!The good: I have arthritis in my knees and back and have limited range of motion. I tied a 2-inch loop of paracord to the end of the zippers and I can pretty easily zip them up (as long as the Velcro doesn't get in the way).I know it sounds like I don't like these but understand that I cannot walk without wearing boots that cover my ankles and these have helped me be able to put my boots on much more easily! I love these things. But why do you have to be cheap with the Velcro tabs?UPDATE. The zipper on my right boot broke within 1 month. Sadly I have added these to the category of pretty but nearly useless.
