Review on 👗 Womens Victorian Steampunk Skirts by Belle Poque - Stylish Clothing for Women by Brooke Abrahams

I bought this in February for Halloween 2018 for my steampunk costume. I start dressing suits early to avoid wardrobe issues like this October skirt. After removing the packaging, everything looked exactly as described. So I waited until the end of March to try it on. Some of you know what I mean when I say I waited until I lost all of my 2017 holiday weight. In hindsight, 20/20 is not a good idea. Long story, I didn't try the skirt on right away. When I did, it was too late to turn back. A bow on the back is not a bow. The photo corresponds to reality, but mine was sewn crookedly, therefore it does not hang like in the photo. I was forced to remove it and fix it myself. Sorry I don't have photos but buyers beware! Examine your skirt and try it on immediately after purchase. Apart from the crooked stitching on the faux bow the skirt is fantastic, I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor workmanship. and the second time everything was perfect. I was glad I gave it another try as it was perfect for my steampunk Halloween costume. The photos don't really do it justice and they're not great photos, but my suit looked amazing and was ready to be photographed. Polyester material, durable, lightweight and comfortable. There is a hidden zipper on the left, but I didn't use it because the back is very stretched. Most of the decorative bow on the back was hidden by the corset I was wearing, so I didn't have any pictures. The skirt looks a lot fuller because I'm wearing a Victorian steampunk petticoat and fleece lined leggings. I adjusted the length as high as possible. The back of the skirt goes to the floor. I wear boots with three inch heels. I am 5'3' and weigh 140 pounds at the time of the photo. The skirt was pretty loose on me, but with a tucked in blouse, fleece leggings and an added Victorian steampunk petticoat, the overskirt fitted perfectly. Go up a size if like me you want to add extra clothing. Except for the boots, I bought everything I wear from Revain and listed them below. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a victorian/gothic/pirate/steampunk style skirt. I would give 5 stars if it was my first purchase but it only got 4 stars in my first review.
