Outside plastic coating inside wire / cheap / bad design

brand new. Only used twice. Annoyed that my electronic device (intended use) died after only an hour of use - when I checked there was a bare (red) wire. I assume he stopped working because he is now in deficit? I have no idea, but overall I wouldn't buy it again. money wasted
