Review on 📀 Panasonic DVD-S700EP-K All Region Free DVD Player 1080p Up-Conversion with HDMI Output, Progressive Scan, USB & Remote (110V-240V) by Rusty Heredia

In September I bought two Panasonic DVD players, this one and another for multiple regions. Both are the same model. I used this for a few days and it worked fine. Then I stopped for a while and started watching the DVR. Today I went back to watch the DVD again and found the unit wouldn't turn on. I've tried everything. I thought it might be a plug because the multiregion has a different plug type and uses an adapter to fit US outlets. I thought it might also be related to the HDMI input I use for my TV. I have an HDMI switch that allows me to connect multiple devices to the same HDMI port on my TV. I tested this by bypassing the switch and plugging the cable directly into the TV, still the same result. The power indicator does not light up. When I finally turned it on there was no signal on the TV. After an hour of plugging and unplugging and maneuvering cables, I finally gave up. Not only was the power light off, but I couldn't eject the DVD from the disc tray. Unfortunately, the return period has expired. I will recycle it. I cannot recommend this device.
