When the package arrived, which was removed from the AMAZON packaging, there was a very strong unpleasant odor in the AMAZON packaging. As soon as the tube was removed from the factory packaging, the smell was gone. The smell came from outside the factory packaging, there was no smell from the tube. The operation of the handset was not as easy as described. The tube was coiled so tightly that the brass inlet tube was out of the liquid and kept twisting up. After several attempts to "straighten" the hose, managed to get the suction device to stay under the liquid. It took a few more tries to "shake" the brass fitting to get the liquid flowing. Once started it worked fine and finished the job without any further problems. Wouldn't recommend it.
