the V angle catches the nail and bites sharply
While I have no problem with the "sharpness" mentioned by others, I totally disagree as to what causes the V shape catches the nail and bite when you bend over. No matter how slowly and carefully I guide them across the nail bed, it seems that they are simply constructed at an angle where they gravitate against the direction you are moving. Once you feel it biting your nail you REALLY need to stop what you are doing fast as it will quickly deepen. This not only trims the cuticles, but removes tons of little spoons from the bottom of the nails :(
