This felt storage basket is big for the price but looks and feels cheap. I'm a big fan of felt storage containers. The others I have are thick enough to be textured yet soft and light. This has a new design with a separate flat lid that fastens with 4 snaps. The lid is covered with twill tape around the entire perimeter. There are handles on both ends of the basket. The carrying handles are made of felt on one side and imitation leather on the other side and are attached with metal rivets. The inner bottom of the basket is lined with a smooth polyester fabric that gives it a bit more structure. I have to admit I wasn't thrilled when I opened it. The faux leather handles look cheap. The sides of the basket are one layer thick and don't feel strong. The lid is really just a dust cover as it only snaps in place with tabs in 4 places. So if you're storing items with small pieces, don't expect the lid to keep them inside if knocked over. I give it 3 stars because it's very cheap for a basket of this size and things fit in it. I put the yarn in mine but will keep it in the closet because it looks very cheap.
