We have Mannington Luxury vinyl flooring (which we love!) in the kitchen and living room. The only problem with this bottom - we have a platinum grade Coral Bay Seashell, if that matters - are tiny craters in the textured surface. They offer excellent grip on wet roads, but over time, especially in the kitchen, they clog with mud. Regular cleaning does not remove dirt from craters, so it accumulates over time. I have tried many materials and methods to remove it but the only thing that has worked is manual brushing. No fun. Then I tried this BLUE brush on the Oreck Orbiter. WOW! Just as clean and sooooo quicker and more enjoyable. It was wonderful! If you have a floor like this, I highly recommend getting this brush and machine. It's worth it. I've also tried many cleaning solutions, including well-known brands and quite expensive options. I finally settled on Mr. Clean at a rate of 1/4 cup per gallon of water. The cleanest and cheapest option. I applied it liberally to a patch of ground with a garden sprayer, waited a few minutes, cleaned with the orbiter, squeezed all the dirty water into a puddle and vacuumed it up. Wipe twice with a clean mop. Very clean, easy enough for yearly maintenance, floor intact. Highly recommended!
