I have a very small wrist and was looking for a bracelet that was as small as possible. I still have a bit of play around the edges, but it fits a lot better and is a lot more comfortable than the straps that come with the Fitbit. I like it so much that I can buy another color and change it up from time to time. To clarify, the gap is due to the design of the Fitbit and the strap attachment system. This is not caused by problems with the group itself. I wish there was a way to reduce the width of the fasteners, but I doubt it.
