A great disadvantage.

I got this mouse a few hours ago and decided to give it a quick check. I had no problem installing a mouse on my computer (Win 10 Home 64). Well hidden in the battery compartment is a small USB stick that runs on a single (AA) battery. My computer recognized the mouse and it works great. In general I like the mouse. Note. The shape of the mouse is slightly asymmetrical. Its shape is more suitable for right-handers. I quickly found a small but annoying error. The mouse scroll wheel is placed in an odd way. Looking at the photos, I didn't notice that the mouse wheel was pushed back much further than other mice I've used. I have to keep moving my index finger back a little to operate the wheel. A small detail, but I don't like it. If I had known that, I would have chosen a different model. I don't like the inconvenience of another trip to UPS for a refund so I just keep it in stock. Incidentally, the scroll wheel is silent and has a slightly tightened or "jagged" gear. The buttons also have a fairly quiet mouse click. PS Well, I said too soon. I found a second and much more serious bug. This mouse is battery operated. To conserve battery life, the mouse "sleeps" when undisturbed and turns on when moved. But this mouse has a downside. It "wakes up" constantly every five or ten seconds, even when the mouse isn't being touched. I also notice that the pointer "drifts" a bit on its own. I've seen this anomalous behavior with other wireless mice, even those made by Microsoft. When watching a Netflix movie, the mouse keeps turning on and off making my Netflix screen toggle between full screen and standard screen with progress bar and time remaining. Data. This makes the films unwatchable. I've also noticed that scrollbars appear and disappear on their own on various websites. As I said, I've seen this behavior with other wireless mice, but it's particularly annoying with this mouse. I'm sending it back and wouldn't advise anyone to buy it. Since I haven't had this issue with any wired mouse (including my previous ones), I ordered a wired mouse instead.
