Writing this with one hand and the other in a tub of ice water. I bought this to make pourings during the WFH quarantine. DO NOT heat the water in this pan if you intend to pour from it. The first few times I heated water in a Kitchenaid kettle on the stove and then poured it into that kettle, then boiled the beans etc. It worked fine. Today I tried to heat the kettle on the stove. I had to use a kitchen glove to remove it. I went about my routine and used a kettle with oven mitts to water. After 40 minutes of cleaning, the kettle was STILL HOT. Now I have a BURN pen in my hand! If you have children, roommates, granite countertops, or are absent-minded DO NOT USE THIS KETTLE ON THE STOVE.
