Most of me don't function properly, and those who eat batteries for dinner.

This product's good reviews made me think I must be the unluckiest person to have bought it. I would not recommend this product at all. I ordered 4 packs to start with. One didn't work right away, but three seemed to work properly. Since I got them through a daily business, that was fine with me. However, one of them soon became a little "doubtful" as he passed by. In other words, movement didn't make that moving light light up. Shortly after, I started having problems with one of the bedroom closets. At night I saw a faint light coming out of the closet, blinking on and off. In short, one in four lightbulbs was working properly after just a month or two. I spoke to customer service and they agreed to send me a replacement 4 bulbs at half price. I could go on with the small details, but to get straight to the point, only two of them worked as they should and I'm starting to wonder about one. I tried mounting them vertically and horizontally thinking it might affect how the batteries sit in them, but it doesn't. I also tried mounting them on the ceiling instead of on the wall. No difference. Speaking of batteries, these lights seem to drain very quickly. Based on what I've seen of running flashlights, I expect the batteries to be replaced every 1 or 2 months. This is for a stair light that is used about 20 to 40 times a day. So if you have them in a place where (if you're lucky) they glow less, expect to buy fewer batteries. The person I dealt with in the company's customer service was very polite and responded very quickly. But this is a product review, not customer service, and I wouldn't have to deal with them if the product worked as advertised. Like I said, maybe I was just unlucky. But I received two orders for it with a difference of several weeks, only 8 lamps. Two or three of those eight worked fine. So in the end I doubt it has much to do with luck.
