Although the mounts were thrown in the box, they survived delivery undamaged. The brackets were not identified by side, but it only took a few minutes to determine which side they were intended for. Directions with pictures were only acceptable and could have provided more information and better pictures. I mounted the first set of brackets backwards first and discovered my mistake when I started to attach the second bracket. Simple repair and installation went smoothly from then on. My only thought is how strong the first bracket and screw combo is. These are the smallest nuts and bolts, but they are the foundation of all deck assembly. The time will show.
