Great umbrella for the price
Doubt if any umbrella would stand up to high wind, so important to put it down if not in use. To make the pole more ridged I mounted it in a length of 1 1/2" PVC pipe up to the crank. Just put a couple layers of duct tape around it to take up the excess space in the PVC. Haven't had it long enough to rate the material but it could use some kind of tiedown when the umbrella is down.
