I hate when a toilet decides to stop working. Not that I have parts at home just in case. Maybe I should do, but in all these years it has never crossed my mind.And they never seem to stop,say Tuesday at 2pm when a local hardware store is open and greets you with their wise toilet repair tips.No , it always seems to happen after 5 a.m. on weekends.This was also the case when our Toto toilet thing broke the chain that connected to the lightning handle lever.As there were no shops but an outlying hypermarket for household goods was open, it turned around i turn to my amazon friend as i often do to see what poppers i might find. and look what i found. some kind of UNIVERSAL device for toto.. i bought it and spent 2 days trying to manually flushing the toilet until it arrived. It looked complicated and I broke out in a cold sweat, cursing myself for buying that universal fastener when installing a custom fastener would have been easier. But I persevered despite my growing panic and actually read very little of the instructions that came with it (there's also a video for those who might be more panicky than me). In five minutes I had a perfectly flushable toilet. It couldn't have been easier and the very nice toilet people really explained everything in detail in a few words. I've been flushing happily for the past week. Now I'm debating whether I should maybe buy another one so I have a spare on hand. Of course, if I buy it now, it's cheaper than waiting to buy it when the current one fails in three or four years. This is something to consider. Conclusion: Don't be afraid like me. This thing is easy to install and only took a few minutes. The instructions seem complicated, but if you actually take 40 seconds to read them, you'll see how easy it is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
