I put these in one of my old fridges and freezers to check their chill temperature. The display not only shows the current temperature, but also the minimum and maximum temperatures reached since the last reset, so you can easily see how stable the chiller is. I first tried this on my new Samsung fridge which shows the internal temperature just to see how accurate the unit is and was glad both were accurate. Using them has helped me optimize the cooling setting in my refrigerator. This was also very helpful after a recent power outage as I could see that the maximum temperature reached was still within the 'safe' range on both devices and I didn't have to worry about throwing food away. I think it's even more useful. than I originally expected. Based on my experience I would definitely order them again.
