Causes a terrible rash

My daughter wore a scarf for about 30 minutes for family photos and woke up with a terrible rash on her neck and lower face. I don't know what chemicals could be on it, but she's never had a reaction like this before in her life. This whole set (and mittens bought separately) is going in my trash. What a waste of $$.
