I had my 1994 Ford Mustang odometer repaired with this and had no problems. I found a great DIY guide kit on odometergears.com and it only took me about an hour to remove the instrument cluster from the dash, remove the old gears and replace them with new ones. This package includes 2 gears: 1 worm gear and round gear. I recommend replacing both gears, even if only one of the original gears is defective. I made the mistake of just replacing the round gear with broken teeth but left the original worm gear intact because it looked good. Bad mistake. The original worm gear eventually broke in half after 3 years and I had to remove the cluster plate again to finish the job. Do them at the same time and you won't regret it. In fact, they are very easy to replace if you remove the cluster disk.
