This is one of those toys that every little kid needs. I wanted to be durable, and Melissa and Doug have always been strong and good quality. In my experience, the hole diameter is uneven, with some pins being tight and others being loose. Well it's consistent but my 2 year old granddaughter pulls out the pegs by hand! that defeats every purpose and intention. I was hoping and expecting a toy that was tough and tight and could go through multiple kids (and maybe dad) without being too loose. Looks nice and solid just not what I wanted.
