This little Bluetooth audio amplifier packs a punch and I just used a 24W (12V @ 2A) power supply. I tested it with two Dual Electronics LU43PB 3-way component speakers with a nominal input impedance of 4-6 ohms (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00081NX5U). I think powerful component speakers are the best way to get the full breadth of audio control that the bass and treble controls give you. After cranking the bass up to around 75%, the sound quality was pretty good and enough to shake the room. The treble control is less effective than a real EQ, evidenced by the fact that I still get a lot of treble even after removing it entirely. For typical applications, however, there is certainly enough control. Connecting to Bluetooth is very easy. It streams BT-WUZHI and is very responsive when pairing and connecting. It's almost too easy! Someone in range can connect to it very easily if you are not already actively connected. I have verified that another device cannot intercept the connection by trying to pair it (some BT speakers keep transmitting and pairing even if already connected). The device also does a good job of choosing between a 3.5mm or a Bluetooth input jack, always prioritizing the Bluetooth connection (the two inputs don't overlap). I only have two minor complaints: 1) Bluetooth radio cannot be turned off. As long as the device is switched on, the radio works. I'd rather have the radio turn off when I flip the power switch to the off position. Because it's always on, it's easy to accidentally connect to it when you're around. This can also be an issue if you're using a 3.5mm input and someone connects using Bluetooth, as the device will automatically prioritize Bluetooth. I think it would be nice to have a separate switch to turn Bluetooth on and off, in addition to the main power turning everything off. 2) There are no additional mounting holes on the bottom, and the included hardware is right around the M2, so pretty small. Both issues are minor enough not to affect my rating. I just unplug the unit when I'm done with it to avoid miswiring around the house and I can easily add my own mounting holes. Finally, this is a great inexpensive Bluetooth amplifier that gives you more audio control and power. than your typical Bluetooth speaker solutions.
