A well known and respected brand, basically an industry standard. It's a good price and delivery was fast. It comes in the typical cheap but functional plastic case, complete with a dovetail (I need to either stop losing them or start turning them on more with all the lights). I like the included dovetail style (it's easy to tighten the knurled nut), but some people prefer the ones that have a screwdriver slot. I use it for my "middle" range display, mainly for aligning CNC (automotive) jigs. . I line up the jig along the edge of the board to within 0.015" by eye or with a cheap dip indicator and then use that type of indicator to lower it down to about 0.001". I then directly touch the origin points of the jig with 0-4-0.00005" Brown & Sharpe for final minor adjustments and near perfect alignment. They work, wear and sometimes damage occurs. The Mitutoyo turn signals I had in the past, have withstood abuse better than any cheaper indicator I've tried, and the level of accuracy remains high enough to pass both industry certification and much more expensive brands.Basically, this is a really good all-purpose indicator.
