Excellent paper for certificates. Let's talk about weight, color, texture and effects. Weight: This is a wonderful "moderate" somewhere between very heavy paper and somewhat light envelope/cardboard. It's easy to use and prints well. Color: another moderate. White but maybe a shade of gray compared to the ultra bright UV paper. However, excellent print contrast. Texture: For printing, it's clear and tightly bound, so there's no problem. But you can see they pressed it down with a light texture like speckled stripes to add to the "shimmer" effect. Under the finger it feels very much like cardboard or fancy resume paper, with an almost slightly fluffy, warm, organic feel. He is friendly and lively, not cold and calculating. Effects: There is a slightly prismatic reflective coating that brings out the full "metallic shimmer" effect. the valleys remain slightly grey/purple. The overall effect is a subtle shimmer that gives it a premium, polished look. Printing my certificates on it is fantastic. The dark areas cover some of the shimmer effect, but the light areas show through, giving it a very interesting custom quality. I am very happy. So why only four stars? The tutu was cellophane wrapped and wrapped in bubble wrap, neither of which protects the corners and edges very well, so a slight dullness reduces the usable headroom a bit. Judging by the cost of this product you would think it would be boxed.
