I have an HPm428dw and bought this product thinking I could replace the chips. Despite all the videos YouTube University has to offer, how to replace the toner and the useless tweezers you expect as the only "tool" to remove the chip. NOTHING. I used tweezers, a pocket knife, and a utility knife, but this chip wouldn't budge. My guess is that HP started gluing chips together to keep ripping us off at $100 for toner. Well, you've also been robbed by this salesman who leads you to believe that chip transfer is a DIY project that is actually doable. Do not buy this product unless you are happy to spend the money as this is also one of the toners that does not have replacement chips on eBay yet (from what I could find). Overpriced original HP toners may make you angry at the checkout, but at least you can use your printer. Your best bet is to try refilling the ink to extend how often you have to pay up to $100 for a toner cartridge.
