There are too many configurations required at different levels of granularity which makes user interface difficult as well sometimes (for example - setting alert thresholds). Also there was no integration with any other tool/product out in market place yet! We were solving our performance problems very quickly using this product. As mentioned earlier we have taken several steps towards making application more responsive in terms of speed up front end response time etc.
