This bit saved the day! I had to cut out rectangular holes for 310 digital locks on locker doors. I made a template for the shaft to rub against and pressed it against the door. Set the plunge router to depth and this cutter cuts great, the blades are staggered so you don't cut the same depth with every revolution to avoid burning or binding! Great tact. 1 slotted drill bit 310 holes 1 1/2" x 3" x 1" thick maple. I waxed around my jig so the shaft would ride on it, no bearing required!.
