We have a total of three Xboxes and two Black Elites in the house (one MW Elite) and I have to say about the variety of controllers we have, from wired to wireless and white, red and black colors. I really prefer black wireless controllers. I would advise you not to use batteries unless they are rechargeable because they eat batteries. We just bought a charge and play set that works perfectly. We bought a used one from a local game store but are replacing it because it appears to have been abused with our characters being moved sideways or the controller being moved sideways as if pressed when everything is fine. The ones we had from day one had no problems.
