I am changing my rating. As soon as I put the mold in water to wash before use, they separated into 2 molds as advertised. They were still smaller than expected but there were 2. I'm sorry I didn't find that out before posting my first review. If you buy them thinking there's only 1, put them in warm water and they'll almost separate on their own.
