The special feature of these containers is that the lids have 2 layers at the top. One layer has holes on one side and the other layer has holes on the other side. Therefore, even if they splash a little, they should not overflow. These containers can be used for both cold and hot food. So they're pretty versatile. They are pretty hard/firm. These containers are made in China and distributed by the Chinese company Revain. At the current price of $20, they're a little pricey for Chinese paper, but overall I really like them.
