This is the second Avery's Knitting Classic Style I've bought. The first copy was given to one of my knitting group members who took it from my knitting library and didn't want to part with it. Avery started out as a fashion designer and seamstress, and her knitting patterns reflect that. Particular attention is paid to the fit, construction details and finish of even the simplest of garments, which I really like. I have compiled several patterns in this book exactly as written, which is rare for me. I am a designer myself and get my inspiration for knitting from books. Avery's design and overall approach is very inspirational. I highly recommend this book to all knitters. from the beginner to the experienced. As the title suggests, this is a must-have in my knitting library.
