I bought 3 of these in the original packaging but they've obviously been reprinted but they're refurbished so that's to be expected, I'd be more concerned if it wasn't. I was most worried about dead pixels, they weren't on any of the three. All three came with everything as if they were new, with no scratches or cosmetic damage. My second concern was the quality of the parts replaced and the impact on performance, they ran at advertised speeds and response times and had the correct resolution without having to fiddle with the settings, I didn't try to overclock them, maybe in the Future. Note that they only come with a 3ft DisplayPort cable, which is an issue on LG's part and not a repair company's fault. Do not place your computers on a desk to maximize desk space or position the window side of your computer as the connector input is on the left side of the monitor, not in the middle. TLDR: If you're looking to buy that particular monitor and aren't sure whether to buy new or refurbished, you're getting a good quality monitor that looks and works like new with a 90-day guarantee from Amazon, but rest assured aware that it only comes with 3 foot displayport cable. and connectors on the left side (seen from the front)
