Compact, stylish, affordable and functional - I wasn't expecting this when I was looking for a way to connect all my USB-A plug-in devices to my new device I use MacBook Pro 13" , but it's exactly what I found. While the aluminum body feels fairly light in the hand, it's somewhat impressive, and while it doesn't quite match the aesthetics of the device you'll most likely be using for the Example: Apple laptops are definitely not out of place.What attracted me to this particular device and not other dongles or adapters is that it doesn't have a cord for the .dongle to hang from.I've had many devices and Cables that have failed over the years due to cable stress and oversizing, so I was dying to have this in an accessory that I intend to use for a long time avoid. Just plug it in and it works, no fuss. Charging my laptop via the USB Type-C port worked the same as ours. Everything about using the port on the computer itself and the USB Type 3.0 ports work as advertised. The SD and MicroSD slots are also a definite bonus. If there's one thing I'd be wary of, it's continuous travel. I'm a photographer so I expect to take this dongle with me wherever I take my laptop, so the ease of assembly makes me a bit concerned - slipping it into a small cloth sleeve like you store dice should be enough to keep it in To protect your bags and pockets. While it's tempting to just leave it in your laptop, I absolutely do not recommend leaving it plugged in if you're carrying your computer in a bag or backpack. While this unit fits snugly in the MacBook case, it still wobbles a bit, which can damage the ports if stored improperly. at the $19.99 price I paid for it. I doubt I'll need another USB hub for much longer.
