Review on Stretchy Tapered Denim Pants For Women: Ripped High Waisted Mom Jeans By GRAPENT by Eric Hanson

For comparison:I am 5’5” and I am usually 120 lbs but post holiday I’m rocking 125-130 lbs. I normally wear US size 4 or 27 in pants and size medium bikini bottoms. I have wide hips, some junk in the trunk, and shorter legs.Product:With the extra winter weight hanging on tight, mostly due to my love of chocolate and avoidance of the outdoors when the temperature is under 60, I decided to order medium Grapent jeans. I did not want the pants to be too tight and hinder my couch potato winter lifestyle. That was a mistake. The provided size chart recommended a size small but I have trust issues when it comes to size charts so I went up a size. Not only are the jeans plenty big in the waist, maybe for 8/10/12, but there is quite a bit of stretch in the material. Also, the fabric lost a bit of shape after a day of running errands. I fully regret not getting the recommended small because the material is very soft and stretchy so I think I would love them if they fit better. That’s my bad! The fabric is not a true denim but rather a medium weight cotton/poly blend. There are functional hip pockets as well as back pockets. I especially like the thigh rip because it is a different style than my other ripped jeans. As for length, I had to roll the cuffs to wear with sneakers. I’m normally a 29” inseam and these jeans were probably 30-31”. These waist just qualifies as "high” landing just past my belly button. The rear area was the only fitted part with the legs being looser.Recommendation:These mom jeans are stylish and super comfortable. I recommend going by the size chart in this case and rest easy knowing the fabric has plenty of stretch. The only negative thing I found was the tag instructs to hand wash while the product page advertises machine washable. I am going to machine wash but hang to dry and hope for the best. I really like these jeans and would recommend to a friend!
